The decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization created many difficult questions for employers.

Can an employee seeking an abortion take leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)? Are employees entitled to accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) because they seek or have an abortion? What are the risks of providing medical insurance coverage of abortions or travel reimbursement to employees seeking abortions? How do employers reconcile the requirements of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA) with seemingly conflicting state criminal and insurance laws?
